| 1.0 GENERAL CLASS: |
| The definitions, dimensions, limits and restrictions listed below are intended to maintain the strict one design features of the class, with the objective of assuring fair sailing in which the skipper and his skill become the deciding element. Any obvious attempt to negate or violate these specifications shall require that the yacht be barred from competition in the class until such time that the violation(s) is (are) corrected. |

| 2.0 GENERAL - YACHT: |
| 2.1 | The hull, keel fin, cockpit hatch, lead, rudder mast and booms must be those provided by the manufacturer or approved distributor of:

| 2.2 | No substitutes will be allowed. |

| 3.0 HULL: |
| The hull must be finished per the instructions of CMY to conform identically with specifications of boats built and finished by CMY. Only the radio tray within the hull can be redesigned and/or relocated anywhere within hull at owners will. |

| 4.0 DECK: |
| 4.1 | The deck must be finished per instructions of CMY to conform identically with specifications of boats built and finished by CMY. |
| 4.2 | The deck hatch idem to 4.1. |
| 4.3 | Deck layout: chainplates, mast step, and backstay attachment fixture, must be in exact same position as specified on CMY finished boat, and. must be provided by CMY. |
| 4.4 | The forward tack jib boom deck attachment rotating eye bolt is not controlled and can be located at owners will, at any position on centerline of fore-deck, but not protruding forward of bow. Furthermore, additional jib eye bolts can be mounted permanently on deck at owners will so long as they remain on centerline of deck. |

| 5.0 KEEL: |
| 5.1 | Keel fin position may not be altered from CMY design. |
| 5.2 | Keel fin shape may not be altered from CMY design. |
| 5.3 | Keel entry point into hull slot may not be altered from CMY design. |
| 5.4 | An optional shoal draft keel offered by CMY shall incorporate 5.1, 5.2, and 5.3 above. |

| 6.0 LEAD BULB: |
| 6.1 | Shape may not be altered from CMY design. |
| 6.2 | Attachment point of bulb to keel may not be altered from CMY design. |
| 6.3 | Keel weight complete with fin attached must remain within the weight limit as per CMY specifications. |
| 6.4 | Ballast shall consist of lead shot permanently bonded within molded bulb as per CMY specifications. |

| 7.0 RUDDER: |
| 7.1 | Rudder position may not be altered. |
| 7.2 | Rudder shape may not be altered. |
| |
| 8.0 BUMPERS: |
| 8.1 | A bumper may be used at the owners discretion. |
| 8.2 | Maximum bumper size 1 ~ cms fore and at~ by 3,5 cms height measured from the deck down. |

| 9.0 SPARS: |
| 9.1 | all spars will be those provided by CMY, or its approved distributor, no alternations are permitted. |
| 9.2 | Mast and boom lengths may not be altered. |
| 9.3 | All mast fittings must be used; and located as specified by CMY. |
| 9.4 | Mast joint may not be substituted or altered from CMY design. |
| 9.5 | fractional rig attachment location points on mast and measurements cannot be altered from CMY design. |

| 10.0 STANDING RIGGING: |
| 10.1 | All standing rigging hardware: adjustable shroud turnbuckles, bowsics, blocks, cleats, must be those provided by CMY, and must be located as per CMY specifications. |

| 11.0 RUNNING RIGGING: |
| 11.1 | Electronic rigging functions are confined to main and jib sheets only and both may utilize a common servo, or individual servos at owners option. |
| 11.2 | The sheet exit pulley may be changed or modified at owners option. |
| 11.3 | Main and jib fairleads may be changed or relocated at owners option. |
| 11.4 | The method by which the sheet lines are led and attached to the booms are an owner option. |
| 11.5 | Boom vang must be provided by CMY and mounted as per CMY specifications. |
| 11.6 | Manual sail adjustment can be rigged to the owners preference. |
| 11.7 | The use of automatic jib flippers and main outhauls is prohibited. |

| 12.0 RADIO EQUIPMENT: |
| 12.1 | The maximum number of channels that may be used is three. |
| 12.2 | The control functions are for rudder, main and jib sail trim only, and no other functions are allowed. |
| 12.3 | The radio system, winch, servos, and batteries used are the option of the owner. |
| |
| 13.0 SAILS: |
| 13.1 | Original standard main sail and jib must be those provided by CMY. |
| 13.2 | Additional sails may be ordered from independent sources at the option of the owner. |
| 13.3 | All sails from any sailmaker must meet the CMY sail plan specifications enumerated here under. No sails shall be larger in area than the standard sails provided by CMY. However, owners are free to supply their own smaller sails in any size or form provided that they meet all other specifications in par. 13. Sail plan measurements are maximums allowable.
- Main sail area: 5800 cm2 (standard sail provided by CMY).
- Jib area: 1700 cm2 (standard jib provided by CMY).
- Main sail foot measurement: 202 cm.
- Main sail Roach - Uncontrolled (leech cannot project past vertical line projected above end of boom).
- Jib luff measurement: 170 cm.
- Jib foot measurement: 52 cm.
- Jib roach - none allowed

| 13.4 | Sail material may be paneled, and fiber types are owners choice. |
| 13.5 | Neither foot round is allowed for main and jib. |
| 13.6 | No part of sail will project aft or forward of boom ends for main and jib. |
| 13.7 | Sail colors must remain natural fiber colors. |
| 13.8 | Comers of sails may be reinforced. |
| 13.9 | Cloth/fiber material weights are uncontrolled. |
| 13.10 | Main sail luff is fastened to mast by means of bolt rope inserted into mast luff channel as provided by CMY. |
| 13.11 | Mainsail and jib battens are uncontrolled. |
| 13.12 | Country designations and sail number on all replacement or additional sails must be ordered directly from CMY and mounted as follows: approximately 2/3 high of sail. Number on port side will be just below number on starboard side. |
| 13.13 | Class insignas must be ordered directly from CMY and mounted in the upper quarter of the sail and placed at the same spot on opposite sides of the sail, at mid point between luff and leech. |

A3 DEVELOPMENTAL CLASS

A second A3 Class option is available to sailors who wish to experiment with the A3 hull. In this class the Hull is the only controlled and unalterable component. All deck and keel components as well as the standing, and running rigging are uncontrolled. Boats can be raced under one of the two options:
